Mixed performance of European stocks at the close

European shares recorded a noticeable contrast at the close of trading today, Tuesday, in light of the weak appetite for risk in the markets, and the anticipation of the European Central Bank’s decisions on interest rates next Thursday, which clearly affects trading.

During today’s trading, the German DAX index decreased by 0.2% and was the most downside among European shares by the end of trading, and also, the Spanish Ibex index decreased by 0.1%, in addition, the Italian FTSE MIB index decreased by 0.1% at the close of trading today.

On the other hand, the British FTSE 100 index was the best performer among European stocks by 0.4% at the close of trading. Also, the French CAC Index rose 0.2% and managed to maintain these slight gains towards the end of the European trading session.
